I've not really been in isolation and to be honest I probably live a more isolated life than most on here.
My highlight of the week...that's tough.
Could be successfully unblocking the drains or perhaps, no definitely, getting my mojo back and putting in two fast runs. Well fast for an old fart. Great weather for running.

I asked Diane next door if she needed any shopping doing. She is 85 and didn't need it as her daughter has that covered.
Planted a load of plants and bulbs for summer - Looking forward to them coming up.

Long long dog walks in fine weather. Actually really been lovely seeing many people out with their beasts and chatting (from a distance). Watched a lot of 70's football on youtube. And gutted my shed out.

Top tip - it's not the hotness of the curry that gives you the shits, its the hygiene of the curryhouse.
On your first visit, always order the hottest. If it DOESN'T give you the shits, stick with the curryhouse.

I had a stern and unrelenting conversation with myself today sir. We shared a carafe of wine - nothing fancy ' just a house red- and had a deep chat over strawberries besidethe burbling riverbank. Under the nearly Àpril skies. These times are rare and may never come again we felt.
We agreed that I love me more than you love me.

Given that I now work from home as a norm (complete with no mates), my day was the same as before this shit hit the fan.
Only difference is that most of the team seem to have disappeared from the face of the earth; I'm basically here to help them do their own jobs (properly), but they've all either suddenly and deliberately "got it" and no longer need me, or the virus has got them and the government are keeping it quiet.

Did not have to deal with undergrads at all.
And wife was home.
Net positives.
Other than that not much has changed for me.
Respect to those that are making big changes.
